Using robotics as an avenue to challenge students each year we design, build, and program a robot to perform tasks unique to a specific problem issued by FIRST(For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology).

In a sports arena type competition, our robot is allied with other teams in a cooperative effort to navigate the playing field and successfully meet the goals of the game. This year's game, called Overdrive, is explained in the Competition Animation.

Rolling Thunder Robotics provides an exciting opportunity for students to work as a team solving problems, overcoming obstacles, and partivipating in a robotics competition. RTR is a student club affiliated with Harvester Teaching Services, a ministry of Harvester PCA located in Springfield, VA.
