Harvester's Youth and Family Ministry is built on the biblical principles that the family co-laboring together in service and ministry is God's primary training environment for discipling children, and that the goal of discipleship is to train our kids for a life of sacrificial service in godly excellence in all things.
In keeping with these principles, our meetings center around worship and Bible study with parents and teens together (the entire family is welcome, with the primary youth focus on teens ages 13 and up), and our ministry activities are built around families serving together in the church, the local community (including Washington, DC), all over the U.S., and around the world (including places like Thailand, China, and other locations).
We have also participated together in various recreational events, such as water skiing, swimming, martial arts, shooting, paintballing, and rock climbing.  The overall ministry direction is determined by the fathers, who meet periodically to discuss goals and vision, and who also lead the Bible studies.
We train older youth to take responsibility for leadership of various ministry service and outreach activities, events, and trips, and to be involved in discipling the younger teens and pre-teens.

We meet on Sunday night at 6:30 pm.

YV
The YV (Youth Voices) singing group meets on Sundays from 6 - 6:30 PM in the Sanctuary.  It is for grades 7 - 12.

YZ
YZ is a music group that is part of the youth ministry. They practice every Monday evening and lead the worship service one Sunday each month
